Took the Canon nFD 14mm f/2.8L for a walk tonight.

Got my first new camera in five years in the mail last week. It’s the very compact, yet very capable, Fujifilm XF10.

At this moment in time, the Fujifilm X-T1 is almost 7 years old. “Why are you still shooting with it?” I hear you ask. Well, because it’s still an amazing camera. It’s still my go-to camera when going on trips and hikes.

The past two months I’ve taken a lot of photos of those cute faces. But I was missing some good portraits, with some beter lighting. I’m not unhappy with the results below, but I wanted to try something different.

What if you don’t have to think about shutter speed, aperture and focussing at all? Just snap away. Seventy-two times per roll. Just get your composition right. Be more creative, less technical.

I took a walk with the Canon nFD 14/2.8L. love wide angles, but the 14 is (almost) too wide for me. There is at least one subject where this lens shines.
